My Abstract series has been an evolving body of work since 2017. These paintings are a reflection on the movement and energy underlying change. While still embracing the qualities of simplicity and light that I value in my landscape and nature paintings, this body of work abandons structure for fluidity; form for the unrecognizable; and control for trust in the unpredictability and spontaneity of the painting process.
